Yes, tunic is correct for Panzer Grenadiers. More likely you should have the M40/M43 tunic as it is only later that the regiment expands into division size (early 1942) so most likely you would have joined then or later. M36 looks nice though doesn't it?
The cuff band goes through five incarnations durring the war. In october 1940 it is green but later changes to black. Not sure when the changes happen. I have some great books on GD if you need any info ask and I'll have a look, but can't guarentee I can find it. I can scan and send the cuff title pictures I have (black and white sadly) but haven't spotted which was issued when yet.

Thanks for the info, Sean. :good: In addition to the cuff title colour change, the script also changed, and they were issued at different times in wool or BeVo. Re: the tunic - yes, I suspected that a "normal" tunic would be correct - only a few Pz Gren regiments used the "wrap". However, I would say an M36 would be fine. A soldier would not be issued a new tunic unless his old one had worn out, even if he changed regiment, etc.

Hi guys, another new heer recruit on the way. Have been after a skirmishable german load out for a while, as my SS panzer uni is more for posing, black and covered in bling, hehe.

Have played all my games are a yank so far, so will be nice to have a change. I bought the m36 uni exogen had for sale on the forum, its badged up as an Obergefreiter, which i plan on keeping, just need to sort out some bits and pieces to complete it, y strap etc. Planning on keeping it as a generic infantry uniform.

quick question, with the m36 would it be acceptable to wear both jack boots or ankle boots with gaiters?

Will get some pics up once the uni is complete, is there any particular place to post Heer kit pics? As all comments will be more than welcome.

Cheers Phil

M36 can be worn with jackboots or ankle boots, Phil. :good: Just put the pics in the General kit pic thread. 8)

Yep - you're in charge!

Well, that's 16 Heer Infanterie signed up - I'm sure there are one or two who aren't on there...

I wanted to wait until I had a photo, but I will have my standard, conscript grenadier uniform within the weekish. So you can add me to that list Mein Heer. :good:

Most of my uniform is here, so if ye need another Heer infantry, sign me up, no clue when I'll be able to get to a game before Halloweens Outpost game though x.x
